AQ-JMM 50 tons winch belongs to friction type winch. Its winch rope does not tie to winch drum when it works. It transports and pulls loads by the friction between winch drum and winch rope. The working principle of 50 tons winch is just like movement of belt and pulley. AQ-JMM type winch has ratchet stop device, which makes winch drum stops anywhere you want. This type friction winch has one unique advantage, its motor can move under no load condition and it has small starting torque. Besides, driven motor does not need inverting, so the power grid will have a balance load. Friction clutch prevent actuator from damage.It is forbidden to use friction winch as material hoist in construction site.
